Talking matters - for learning, for sharing, for life.

The Center's mission is to provide unique, specialized early intervention programs, facilitate research and support professional training to improve speech, language and literacy learning for young children.

Since 1989, the Child Language Center (CLC) has provided early childhood education and speech-language intervention services to young children, 2.5 - 5 years old. Programs include Wings on Words Preschool, Summer Camp and clinical services to treat a variety of speech-language disorders including childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), speech sound disorders, and developmental language delay (DLD).
